What our guests say

The “Sparkling Waters of Hanover” is no understatement! This property is absolutely stunning, and my children exclaimed that it was the nicest house they had ever been in. The Villa is both sophisticated/romantic and family friendly, as well as sprawling enough to provide privacy for each member of our family of eight. We especially loved the salt water infinity edge pool that overlooks the ocean. The staff really make the experience though. Between the cooking provided around the clock and friendly locals available to supply a frozen cocktail or help the children snorkel and kayak, we were provided for at every turn. Our children are already wondering when we can go back! We are likely to make it an annual trip.

Simply, a slice of heaven! From the moment you arrive, you are greeted and made to feel special. Renee's home is perfectly located on the northwest side of the island, just 20 mins shy of Negril, if you are coming from Montego Bay. The location is private, and since you are so close to the west coast, you enjoy the most beautiful sunsets each evening. Amazing meals were curated by the chef, Nardia, who frankly knocked it out of the park with her meals. We traveled with young kids, and she knew exactly how to make them happy. The pool and hot tub, and shallow beach were amazing and a real delight and entertained our kids all day, while the adults went snorkeling and kayaking. We have stayed at many guests homes in Jamaica before, but this home was truly unique: We had our own private beach, a tranquil garden for afternoon naps and a gorgeous, beautifully furnished home (think RH) which made you feel as if you were sitting right on top of the ocean, as it was built right on the edge! The best part was that you need only to step outside the gates and can feel the warm hospitality of your Jamaican neighbors. Just spectacular! I mentioned the chef above, but the other staff members were also pure delight and took care of everything for us. Thank you again for taking such good care of us. We will be back again very soon. By far, my favorite destination in Jamaica! Tip: Ask the host how to get through immigration faster.

I had such a memorable time staying at Sparking Waters. You will have an unique experience. If you are coming to Jamaica for a couple days, I would recommend staying here versus a resort. You will have a true local experience. Aside from having a private coast and waking up to delicious home cooked Jamaican breakfast meals, the staff deserves a lot of credit for providing an excellent customer service. The staff members were super helpful and they felt like family to me at the end of the trip. Never had this kind of experience before in other places I have visited. Renee provided excellent recommendations from the start and Simone (the housekeeper) did a fantastic job keeping us in schedule. She also kept the place sparking clean. Simone was an amazing chef and she surprised me with some of my favorite Jamaican food and fruits. We really enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves and watching the sunset from the patio. You have the whole coastline to yourself and it is perfect for photo ops. I felt super relaxed during my trip. As far as location goes, the property is about 25 minutes away from Negril and over an hour away from Montego bay. I wish I could stay a little longer. Can't wait to see the villa complete. We will be coming back again!

We had a fantastic experience at Sparkling Waters. The staff is super friendly and helpful with anything from advice on things to do, helping communicate and arrange pick up times with our driver, or simply helping us get cooking oil or other supplies. The food was delicious, my husband is now asking that I learn how to make some of these traditional Jamaican dishes so that we can enjoy them at home. The place was very clean and tidied up everyday. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves found that extremely relaxing. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub everyday we were there. This property is in a good proximity to Negril and a bit further to Montego Bay but still not a bad drive. I feel like by staying here we got to see more of the “real Jamaica” and not just the touristy resort experience so we loved that about it as well. I definitely recommend staying here and hope that we’ll be back again soon.

From value to amenities this place was phenomenal. The staff are so attentive and intuitive. Location is secluded and luxurious. Renee and staff helped with transportation every step of the way and had great insight to keep us busy in this beautiful country. I highly recommend this stay.

This place is a one of a kind experience. You will experience real Jamaica outside of the resorts, while still being within an hours drive to either Montego and Negril. You will have your own private piece of the coast and the Caribbean Sea seems like it belongs to only you, as there are no speed boats or jet skies insight. A snorkels paradise. The coral reef coastline is right out your door, and makes the infinity pool and hot tub feel like it goes straight into the sea. We can’t wait to come back to see the private beach cove finished. The furnishing are all brand new and luxurious. Very comfy bed, and I will dream of falling asleep with the ocean at my door step forever. One of the best parts of this place is the staff. They made us feel like family, and there were teary eyes when it was time to leave. We felt well cared for, and watched over while still leaving plenty of privacy. General and Shaba were always available to walk us somewhere or accompany to the store if needed. Simone is probably one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and even brought us fresh eggs from her chickens. This is such a great value, for the services and amenities. They even supplied beverages and snacks. The airport services was exceptional and right on time. They even had someone from the Jamaica tourist board meet us right off the plane. If your looking for a place to get away from the crowds and tourists, this is the most perfect destination. I would recommend to really stock up on food in Montego, as there is not many options near by. Plus, there’s really no reason to leave this place once your there. We will be back many times!

I didn’t want to leave..... you have to stay here! Below are some takeaways but I can honestly go on and on about how much I enjoyed my stay. PROS - The hosts cared! Before my arrival, Renee was extra attentive and provided information about everything I’d need for my stay. On the day of my arrival, I made a detour for food (there was this great rest stop with local food on the way to the location from the airport!!) and Sheldon messaged me to see if everything was ok, since I arrived later than my expected time. - The staff was amazing (shout out to Hope, Simone, Sania, General, Papa Lyn..... you guys are the best!!!). There was an entire team waiting to greet me from the time I pulled up to the location. Everyone was warm and friendly and assured me that they were there to make me comfortable. - The cottage was cozy, clean and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks is a new form of therapy for me! - The views!!!! Pics don’t do justice to the beauty of the surroundings. I got some of my favorite pics in Jamaica on site! - The security: I was never alone at the cottage, which was great! I never once was concerned about my safety and at night, there was a professional company contracted to guard the property. - The infinity pool was everything!! I loved that it was deep (10ft in the deepest part), so I could actually get some laps in for exercise. CONS - I didn’t want to leave

I recently vacationed at this cozy little spot with my partner for a joint birthday weekend. We enjoyed every bit of it. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise, waking up to the sound of waves crashing at your door step, sipping on our morning tea whilst sitting in the swing, sipping on wine in the Jacuzzi, snorkeling on the reef and the best customer service ever. All questions were answered in record time. Our room was kept sparkling clean, encouragement was given when we were second guessing attempting to snorkel on the reef and the food was delicious and prepared on time. We can’t wait to go back! If you are worried about the construction and whether it will disturb you, I don’t think it will. It didn’t disturb us. The waves drown out any sounds you think you might hear and if there are any workmen on site, they keep the noise to a bare minimum.
