Our commitment to safety and enhanced protocols 

Our top priority is the safety, health, and happiness of our guests and staff. We have been working hard to establish new health and safety standards and are excited to reopen with these now in place. All villa staff have been trained on COVID-19 protocols, including attending webinar offered by the local health and tourism authorities. The property is an officially approved COVID-19 compliant villa, as recognized by the Jamaica Tourist Board.  

Below are a few of the protocols you will observe from staff, and what we expect from guests:

Staff will:

§ Go over all protocols with guests on check-in

§ Wear masks and other protective gear as needed

§ Use a contactless thermometer to check guests’ temperature

§ Notify health authorities of any symptoms of concern 

§ Trigger on-site protocols where deemed necessary or if advised by the health authorities (e.g., concerning isolation and care of guests displaying symptoms) 

§ Clean, sanitize, and disinfect throughout the day with extra focus on high-touch surfaces and common areas (e.g., door handles, dining table, pool deck chairs)

§ Take extra precaution in every aspect of food preparation and service 

§ Maintain 6-feet social distance where feasible (e.g., by avoiding passing guests in hallways)

Guests are asked to:

§ Wear masks when within 6-feet of staff 

§ Wash and sanitize hands frequently and thoroughly (there are self-dispensing hand sanitizing stations at the villa as well as several bottles of hand sanitizers throughout the property) 

§ Abide by any requirements stipulated by the health ministry at the airport (e.g., for "home quarantine" at villa) 

§ Report any symptom of illness 

§ Comply with staff guidance concerning protocol (e.g., if self-isolation is required)
